Today, Apple released Safari 3 beta. What’s interesting is that this version comes with a windows specific flavor. Yes, that’s right, you can download and use Safari on a windows machine. As I have not made the leap to Macintosh yet (I know, I know) this is delightful to hear that I can now check Safari rendering but is a double edged sword as I now have yet another browser to build for. However, I am interested to see some cross OS browser testing to see how differently this browser renders in the OS X/Leopard environment and the Windows environment. As with everything, time will tell.
